DSXchange Tutorial for new members !!!

Post by I_Server_Whale »

:idea: How about DSXchange having a mandatory visual tutorial (say 30 min) for newbies on the usage? :idea:
The following topics may be included:

* Relevant "Subjects" for topics
* Posting in relevant forums.
* Using the quote, code, img and url tags.
* posting productive replies. ( where I need to train myself a little :))
* How and why to use the "Edit/Delete this post" feature.

etc, etc....

I don't think the sticky posts are doing a good job. I mean, not really penetrative.

For best value this FAQ would need to be linked to from the Signup page and from the welcome email.

Should we require an "I have read and agree to the terms & conditions" check box?
