Update the home page

Post by chulett »

Seems like it's time to update the home page again. In particular, take down the big ad for the July Lab... and let us know how it went!

Did Ray put Vegemite on his ribeye again?

Also putting the login in a location where we don't have to scroll down would be nice :)
(Who said Moderator can't complain?)

Apart from some minor technical hitches (Texas Fried Server) it went well. All who attended went away with lots to think about, and pleased that they had attended.

I never put Vegemite on steak, though I always carry some. Vegemite it best had on bread (plain or toasted, maybe with cheese and/or tomato), or as a flavour enhancer in soups, stews and stocks.

Maybe the next one will be in the north-east USA or even Toronto. Stay tuned for announcements.

I was KIDDING, knowing that you always carry some as you said.

Many less, err... educated... palettes would argue about the flavor 'enhancer' comment. Me, I've never had the pleasure.

FYI - My current client, after a merger with another company who uses a different ETL tool, is going through the DataStage v. Informatica hokey pokey right now. Three outcomes are coming out of this, it seems: stick with DS Server, buy EE or go to Informatica. I've already floated the idea of - if EE comes in - having you come in and do your magic for the crew here. We shall see! :D

Everyone who booked showed up but one had to withdraw early due to the unexpectedly early birth of his child. This news came in at 2:30am on the first day of class.
