Verb "UNLOCK" is not in your VOC

Post by jzparad »

I'm getting the following error message
Record ROUTINENAME in file DS_ROUTINES is locked by another user
Searching through the forum, I found a suggestion to run the UNLOCK command but when I do I get the "Verb UNLOCK is not in your VOC" error.

I'm running on Windows (client and server) and logged in as an Administrator.

Can anyone suggest why?

Thanks in advance.

What is the exact command you used?
apparetly you can use the following command to cleare all the lock held by the user.
UNLOCK INODE inode# USER user# ALL

LIST.READU EVERY can be used to get inode# and user# for all the locks.

You can try in TCL as well.
