File Connector stage issue

I am using a file connector stage in local mode. The job reads from a text file and writes to a file thru file connector.
The job is aborting with te followin messae:
File_Connector_3,0: An exception occurred: java.lang.RuntimeException java.io.IOException: Pipe closed (com.ibm.iis.cc.filesystem.FileSystemLogger::createCCException, file FileSystemLogger.java, line 194)
I tried to search the forum , the IBM tech note is there for DFS not for local file.
Can you please suggest.
