In our attempts to use the Hierarchical Data stage, after dropping the component into a Parallel job, opening the Properties and clicking on the Edit assembly button, we receive two DataStage windows. The first states "To return to the main stage editor dialog box, you must first close the Assembly Editor dialog box." then not to long after a second states "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. Server path: https://<server_name>:<port_number>".

What configurations need to be added or adjusted to make this work? OR...is there something going on?

Hard to say.....but it needs Flash. Maybe something is going wrong in your environmemt when it tries to download it? Try another workstation for comparison.
