Hi All,

I am currently having issue with a multi instance job in Datastage which is triggered from Control-M.

The job is failing with the following error message:

Parameter set must be reset before it can rerun.

I verified the parameter set on the server and it is all good.

Can someone please point me in the right direction in resolving the issue.

I can't recall seeing that message before, just the message "Job must be reset before it can be rerun". Could you please cut-and-paste the error message in its entirety? What is the status of the instance of the job that you want to re-run? Does Control-M call this job directly, or does it call a job sequence which then calls this job? If the latter, has any job been re-imported or re-compiled since the last time this worked (perhaps one job has a different compiled parameter set from the calling job).

I am running this job from Control-M and I do checked the option to reset before run. I am calling the job sequence which will run the multi instance job.

It's strange that the error message is not consistent every day. We had a clean run in production last night. The error message is very random.

Controller problem: Unhandled abort encountered in job LD_Interface_Control.WMS_Interface_Parameters.InterfaceName_WMS321

I tried to delete the parameter set and created a new one and it finished fine.

Not sure if this will work, I just give it a try...

Again I have no clue with that error message.
