Cannot find a 'job started' record in job log

Hi There

we are able to compile the jobs successfuly ,not able to run ,its prompting the warning message like "Cannot find a 'job started' record in job log",in director also its showing compiled ,not chaning to running status

Please give me a suggestion

This is a bit cryptic:

You have got a job in status compiled (as shown in Director). What do you do and which component of DataStage issues which warning. Is it a pop-up-window or a warning in a job-log or ...???

Its pop-up window in director logview while trying to view the log,Job is just trying to copy one file to a dataset.It is the first time we are using this server.

Try purging the log of all entries.
