User maintained MQTs

Post by miwinter »

We have one of these in our environment and have found that when trying to import the table definition it cannot be viewed, only tables and views can be found when using the plug in metadata definitions (DB2). The same appears to hold true in v7x and v8.1. As such, it means the user maintained MQTs cannot be loaded through Datastage... to benefit from parallelism. Does anyone have any workaround to this or otherwise please? :?

You're not required to import metadata, it can be created by hand. You could also create a temp table that looks like your MQT and then import from that.
