basic transformer

I want to develop a basic transformer job. Can someone tell me where to start? I can't find the "basic transformer" on my palette.

It is normally not directly visible. In the designer, do Stage Types -> Parallel -> Processing -> BASIC Transformer.

You need to export this stage to you palette. When you click right mouse button on your processing tab of your pattete, you would get a new pop out menu out of which you shoud select the 'Customization' option. then a new window would be opened and from the left hand side, you have to select the basic transformer from the server>processing folder in repository items tab. Then you have to drag it to the current pallette group and shortcut items tab on the right hand side.
