difference between join,merge and lookup

hi ..

can anybody tell me the exact difference between join ,merge and lookup..and when to use these stages

Dare I suggest you consult the documentation? Both the Parallel Job Developer Guide and the Online Help Files contain good descriptions of the differences between the three stages.

If you're really stuck start with the Parallel Job Developer's Guide section "Join versus Lookup".
