Ladies and gentlemen
I have another weird problem regarding parameter sets.
I have this perfectly functional parameter set which I've exported as a DSX and am trying to import into a new project with the intention of changing the name since the parameters are global in nature and can be shared by multiple projects.
My problem is when I go to import I get the message:
No objects found for import!
Further to this step the project seems to get blocked since if i go to create a sub folder under 'Jobs' I get the message:
Unable to create new folder.
The Folder 'Jobs' is locked by user 'DataStageSystemUser'
(SessionID '7FE32B02-804D-4193-A2F5-7AFC48E33580')
Does anybody have an idea as to what's going on?
Fyi. I'm on DS 9.1.2.0
Thanks
Tony

can this be a permitions issue of your user and the folders in which the project is set up on?

I don't think so since I import objects in other projects using the same user ID and I've done this kind of imports earlier.
Further... I can't delete the project in Administrator as I get the message:
Failed to delete all repository objects for project Serveurxxx/Projectxxx. This may be due to insufficient resources - please try to delete the project again.
There is a thread on this message but the solution there is lack of permissions on the project's folder which I don't think is my case.

It appears that our installation was causing this problem.
I was told that as long as we had our XMETA DB on the same server as ous DS Engine there wasn't a problem.
However of late we migrated our XMETA to a different physical server housing an oracle Database and ever since, after every project creation, unless we ran a particular command, nothing could be imported into the project. the command in question is:
./cleanup_abandoned_locks.sh -U <username> -P <password>
Sound familiar / weird?
Anyone else had this issue?
