DSxians,
I have read about the Merge stage as Matching rows from Merge stage are consumed, where as it matching rows are Reusuable in Join and lookup? What does it mean ? I am not able to correlate these words ?
Can anybody explain me...
Thanks

Hi Nagesh :D
Hope you're well.
I think the distinction here is to say that:
- in a join or lookup, you can have the scenario where the rows can be reused (i.e. they may match to more than one row on the driving input)
- in a merge, you cannot have this scenario, once a match is made between the master and update data sets, the row is consumed (i.e. that row cannot be used against another subsequently processed row)
Hope that helps!
