Error Security in W IIS 8.01
Hi guys,
My problem is the following ==>
When I try login to Web Console, the following error appears :
"Fail to get groups for user [iis]: Unable to begin a transaction: [Error opening repository: [Error initializing persistence manager module]]"
I Think that this error is related to the security of WAS.
The only change that existed in the server was that the reset of the password of the account iis.
Any Idea?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards.

I was using the account yesterday afternoon - no changes to passwords or accounts. When I tried to login today I got the error message:
Failed to authenticate the current user against the selected Domain:
Fail to get groups for user [parkeca]: Unable to begin a transaction: [Error opening
repository: [Error initializing persistence manager module]]

Check whether the password of the owner of the XMETA database (a user that is created by the installation process) has expired. The install script does not create this user with a "password never expires" setting, so it does expire after whatever expiry setting you are using in Windows user profiles.

Ray - thanks.
I was checking out the xmeta database (oracle rac cluster). I had to set it up for a single server of the three in the RAC and of course that's the only one they are having problems with.
How can I change my setup to point to a different xmeta server (same database). Currenly points to dstgmdq1 and I need it to point to dstgmdq2.
