Hello all,
The new IBM Cloud Pak offering looks very tentative and the right path for the governance side of IIS, especially that the new WKC3.0 will be only offered on the Data Pak. That put in the air a lot of questions about the path to follow if you are a big DataStage/IA shop...

How about the DataStage engine, ETL world? Is anybody in the group planning to start the journey in the next year? I would like to suggest we start sharing our experiences to benefit from each other.

Is early in the game but IBM stated that all applications in their portfolio will be running on the Cloud Pak offering and the traditional offering will be less and less supported offered

Anyone out there having the Datastage in containers?

At this point we don't have enough information to consider a cloud pak. Are you already using it?

I found this pricing web page: https://www.ibm.com/cloud/information-server/pricing

For Info Server Enterprise Edition, there's not much detail. Just small, medium, and large with different prices, much like ordering french fries at McDonald's. :)

What factors could reduce a customer's overall cost?

What does "fully managed" include?

It might be worth it just to avoid the tedious requirements and installation challenges of the microservices tier. That has been a headache for us. Is that included?
