Designer: Could not connect to server after rehost

Post by mandyli »

Hi

recently we have rehost Datastage server from p5 machine to p8 machine .

we have created many projects ,but some projects we are hitting following issue when I import or compile any jobs on New Datastage server.

" could not connect to server "aaa" on port 9080 .[aaa]:9080 is not reachable .Ensure that the server [aaa] can be resolved and that communication on port [9080] between this machine and the server is not blocked."

This is for only or two projects not all.

Thanks
Man

Is it repeatable for those two projects?
Are the identifiers (host names, project names) spelled correctly and in the correct case?

I am also facing same issue. I am trying to import the jobs from one server to another in DS 9.1. But while importing I get this error. Has anyone found a resolution for this?

That's not the same issue. Please start another thread.
