Export: Export job executables without design

Hi,
I have some doubt regarding the job export options.
There is an option 'Export job executables without design'. Dose this option exports only executables without actual job design and in which cases can we use this?

I have tried to test this functionality by export a job with this option, but when I use this option export button is getting disabled. Do we need any special access to use this?

Please clarify, thanks in advance

IMHO,
(In My Humble Opinion)
The only reason to export without design is to hide your implementation.
This means the project that imports the jobs will have no design, hence no way to maintain the jobs.

Furthere more what will you do, if the job fails?
you have no design to debug or fix in case it fails.

Having no design limits your ability to check difference between job versions you may have.

Unless you have a very specific reason and you are aware of the limitations this will result in and you accept those limitation, dont do it.
