Guys,
I recieved an interesting article/joke/story in my mail. It has a good moral to it so I decided to post it here. Check it out.

Reminds one of Ford's response to Bill Gates's declaration that cars, if built like software, would cost $50 and be better than Rolls Royces. The Ford executive retorted that you'd have to fix any problems by everyone getting out, closing all the windows, restarting then opening the windows again.

There's also a delightful story from the early days of DW in which is was discovered that beer sales improved if beer was placed beside nappies. Perhaps another time.

The moral will be more interesting for the Support team working for Datastge.

Placed beside? As in sold next to each other on the same shelf? Nappies / diapers and beer? Do tell. Is that to entice the husband who's out on a quick run "just for more nappies"?

... or on the way home from the office, having been phoned (usually Friday afternoon, ahead of the weekend) to pick up some nappies. That's the one. Like a lot of things that one discovers using a DW, it makes sense in hindsight.

This is an old joke but worth another read

A man joined a big Multi National Company as a trainee.

On his first day, he dialed the kitchen and shouted into the phone:

"Get me a cup of coffee, quickly!"

The voice from the other side responded: "You fool, you've dialed the

Wrong extension! Do you know who you're talking to?"

"No" replied the trainee.

"It's the Managing Director of the company, "you idiot!"

The trainee shouted back: "And do you know who YOU are talking to, you

IDIOT?"

"No!" replied the Managing Director angrily.

"Thank God!" replied the trainee and put down the phone.
