DataStage 11.3.1: Unable to open Edit Assembly

Hi all,

I have recently installed DataStage 11.3.1 and am trying to use the Hierarchical Data Stage.

When I click the Edit Assembly button in the stage, it does open and returns a green screen with the following error: RSL Error 1 of 3 in the middle of the screen and Error #2032 at the bottom.

Do you have Flash installed on your client?
If it's like the Edit Assembly stage for the XML Stage, it will need Flash to work.

We are having a similar problem with 11.5.0.1.

RSL Error 1 of 3 (Error #2032)

However, it's not consistent as I do not get the error, but my colleague does get the error on the same machine. Both our users are in the Administrators group on the machine. We're also using the same DataStage credentials and project. We've tried client side java tracing and looked at the ds_logs files, but didn't find anything meaningful.

How were you able to resolve the issue?

Open internet explorer --> Advanced
Under Security, uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" --> Click OK.

Try opening hierarchical stage again.

Thanks. We verified this, but the option is already unchecked. Oddly enough, we don't see the error with another OS user logging into the same workstation, same DataStage server.

I've opened a PMR.
