system requirements datastage server v7.5.2

Hi at all

I want to install datastage server v7.5.2 and I have one question in regards.

The question is: what are the operating system supported. Have it to be a server operating system, e.g., windows 2000 server, or may be a client operating system, e.g., windows xp or later.

On the IBM infocenter site the documentation in regards (v7.5.2) is not available.

The Server needs to be Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003, the clients can be xp or later.

If you have the 7.5.2 installation package the installation readme contains all the details.

So, can it not possibile to install datastage server v7.5.2 on windows XP or any windows client operating system?

While it might function, it is not supported or recommended.

7.5.2 may work on windows XP (Not the parallel jobs) but was not supported. Before 8.x, Only 7.5x2 supported Parallel jobs on windows server. And for that as well XP was not a supported environment.

Now 7.5.2 is out of support from IBM unless you have an extension.
