How to find users login into one project

Post by xinhuang66 »

Just asked IBM how to find out users accesing one particular project, if possible, any activity log of each users on projects.

IBM replied pretty much No way.

However, I still believe there should be able to find out users login into one project, and maybe some events.

Really want to know if anyone here knows anything ?

The first problem/question is whether each user has a separate Engine credential. If they do, then you might be able to inspect the admin lock on the project - either view locks using Cleanup Resources in Director client or issue LIST.READU command from the Administrator client Command window or within a DataStage shell on the Engine tier. Each connected client user takes a shared lock named something like $!projectname.DSADMIN!& to indicate that they are using the project.

Thanks, this is a smart workaround.
