We're using version 11.7 Information Analyzer (the console, not the thin client). We can't find where to add database credentials so that column analyses can be performed.

Have you tried following the steps to import the metadata using IMAM? It seems like in 11.3 and 11.5 you had to open up IMAM and start with creating a database connection there.

Yeah i also think that you need to import the metadata from your source database via IMAM first. The connection that you specify in IMAM would be used to fetch the data from the source database

And also, an imam import area for IADB should be there.
