New to IA -
DSN established. QETXT.INI in place. Can see flat file, have configured file layout for it. When I run column analysis job on flat file - I get the following error (server blanked out for security purposes):

"java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException:[IBM][Oracle JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port:xxxxxxx.xx.xxx:1521. Reason:Connection refused"

Not sure why Oracle Listener port being utilized for analysis of a flat file on the Linux directory. Any help for a mid-level techie would be appreciated. thanks :D

Have you moved the "table definition" into the project?

I manually defined the file layout using Metadata Manager then, associated the file to the project
