Agent Connection Error

HI,
I have created host computer name(TEST) as well as Datastore in last month and also imported some files metadata. Now i am trying to import metadata and getting warning as "AGENT CONNECTION ERROR" . This warning getting at "HOME -->cONFIGURATION --> SOURCES --> CLICK ON HOST COMPUTER NAME

Error message is : com.ascential.investigate.cas.exception.CASConnectionException: Failed to create a Connection

can you please provide some inputs..

I also ran into this error today. I'm on IA v8.1.1 on RedHat Linux.

Were you able to resolve this error? Thanks in advance.

hm, after restarting the all tiers, the problem went away.

We still don't know whether it was a connection to Information Server database, to Information Analyzer database or to the DataStage project ANALYZERPROJECT. It's annoying, that is.
