IBM gutted the pdf files so they aren't nearly as good as they were before (and they were pretty basic then). I think part of their reasoning was that they changed the interface to one that's more in line with Websphere (which would be the only reason to make the new interface look as bad as it does)

Should be able to
1. contact customer service who should be able to get those docs to you or tell you how to download them from the IBM site.
2. look for the 7.5 doc installation exe.

jvmerc....

Sorry folks but the new interface still drives me crazy with how hard it is to differentiate between icons.

Sri.
Welcome aboard.

Please use English, not SMS, on this forum. Not everyone understands your abbreviated forms, particularly those for whom English is not a first language.

Also please read your licensing agreement with IBM, which I believe you will find expressly forbids what you are proposing to do.

I believe tutorial exercise files stopped being shipped with the product after 6.7. So you get the pdf but nothing to use it with.

I suspect you'll be in breach of your contract if you email out the files.

please send me the datastage tx7.5 tutorial files

Good Lord, people. Which part of "you'll be in breach of your contract if you email out the files" or "your licensing agreement with IBM expressly forbids what you are proposing to do" is so hard to understand? Stop.

Never mind the fact that the person allegedly willing to bring down the wrath of IBM on their company and themselves only posted once 4 months ago and hasn't been heard from since.

Now, asking about the evaluation version is perfectly legitimate. For that, you need to contact your local IBM sales type person. They would have to give you access to that, it's not something that is available for anyone to download on a whim.

Craig,
Shouldn't you give YES some recognition for your quote?

 You changed it.
