Hi,

Do you know if the TCP listener port of DS server is comfigurable? If yes,
we can setup two DS server in a host.

Steve

The ports for 5,6 and 7 are different. I think these can coexist but I
do not think you can have 2 versions of 7. I would bet that shared
memory might not work properly.

Hester recently posted the port numbers on www.DSXchange.com. I could
look it up if you need them.

Multiple versions of DS could run together thanks to a new feature for 7.0.
However, other than the issue of multiple versions of jobs, why do you want
more than one DataStage Server running on the same machine?

It actually slows things down (a bit), when two servers are fighting for
resources. You do know you can run multiple jobs at the same time, right?
