How do i read a copy book from Datastage PX and how does it handle occurs?

Copy Books
You should simply be able to use the Import menu in Manager (or Import Table Definition from the Repository browser in Designer) to import a "COBOL FD".
Not sure in PX how to handle OCCURS - in DS390 the flat file stages give you the choice of flattening (extra columns) or normalizing (extra rows).
