Minimum System Requirements for DataStage 7.0 on Solaris
Depends on what you will need to accomplish with DataStage ? Will you be
executing Jobs utilizing 2 rows or 2 million rows ? Will you be expecting
immediate turnaround time or is 12 hours acceptable ? Do you have 2 Jobs or
802 Jobs ? Do you have 1 project or 8 projects ?
Minimum stated software requirements, while they may allow the product to
work, may not allow for minimum User/Developer expectations and/or
requirements. As an example, try installing Microsoft Windows on a system
which meets their stated minimum requirements..... It will work, just not
quickly or efficiently.
