Change the Core dump defult directory

Post by admin »

Hello Everyone;

Is there a way to change the default directory whenever DS creates the core
dump? Currently, all the time core dumps goes in the project directory. I
would like the core dump to go into /temp directory.

DataStage 6.01, HP-Unix.

Thanks in advance

Change the Core dump defult directory

There's nothing in DataStage to do that. It's standard UNIX behaviour to write core into the current working directory. There may be a way to do what you want in your particular UNIX; check the man pages, for example man -k core.
