Hi,
I have a datastage job i call thru unix script. and when this job ends, for some reason the unix script would not finish. after a while, it would come back with a text "Missing ID(1245)"
would anyone know what this is?
The same dsjob is being used for other jobs and they work fine.

Your datastage server is set to time out after a certain period - the default
is usually 60 minutes (3600 seconds).
To correct this, go into the "Administrator" and change the "Inactivity
timeout" setting on the "General" tab to "Do Not Timeout".
This change, however, means that no connection (including designer, director,
manager connections) will timeout.
Good luck.
