can ds7 support AIX5.3?

Is it supported? I'd say 'no' based on what's in the most recent version (7.5) of the readme:

This version of the product is intended for use on the following operating systems:

HP HP-UX 11.00/11.11
HP/Compaq Tru64 5.1/5.1A/5.1B
IBM AIX 5.1/5.2
Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1/3.0
Sun Solaris 2.7/2.8/2.9
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (Professional, Server, Advanced Server)
Windows Server 2003 (Standard, Enterprise) [DataStage Server only]
Windows XP Professional SP1 [DataStage Clients only]

As to whether it works or not on that release, that's another question. One that I can't answer, I'm afraid.

DataStage 7.0.1, 7.1 and 7.5 all only support 5.2...

Does anybody know if it is still the case that 7.5 is not supported/certified for AIX 5.3?
