Hi All
We are using Datastage 7.5.2 in Unix Platform and the database is DB2 8.2.3.
So far everything was working fine and recently in our datastage jobs we find that, the ODBC stage used in jobs has got ssome problem when we try to view data from teh same.
When we click on View data button on the ODBC stage, whole datastage hangs totally and final nothing is visible.
But using a DRS stage View data is working fine with no issues.
Can anyone help us in reslving this?
A small clue also would be highly Appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!!!!

You can try out following things !
1. When you fire your query on database, whether it works fine.Check the cost of the query.
2. Is there any other job using ODBC stage in your project.Check what are the properties set for that particular stage. There might be some property which you have set incorrectly causing that stage to hang.
Hope this helps !

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Is there any update of the db2 database environment, such as ipaddress/hostname/credentials.etc.
It seems there is something wrong with the .odbc.ini file or uvodbc.config file loacated at "$DSHOME" .......
