Hi,
I have created customized rule set and edited CLS, DCT, PAT files with the old rule set that i have created in 7.5.0 Quality Stage.
When i tried to test the rule set i am getting the below error
VBStringToUFT8File(C:\IBM\Informationserver\Clients\Classic\Temprules\TEST.PAT) path/File access Error.
Help me to solve this error.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Vasu

Don't the rules files have to be in a specific folder? (Don't have immediate access to QualityStage at the moment, so can't check.)

Folder should be C:\IBM\InformationServer\Clients\Classic\QS_TEMP

Doesnt the customization get saved to the said path when we modify the rule set from the GUI?

No. Whenever you modify a Rule Set (including using overrides) you must provision it (copy it to the server) afresh.

I don't believe the location of QS_TEMP is configurable.
