What is difference between parallel and server jobs?

Please explain the difference between Parallel job and server job?

Do you mean in the way that QualityStage requests are handled, or generally (in which case why post in the QualityStage forum)?

I put this question because while creating new job I could see only two options, parallel and sequential. So, just I thought of knowing what a server job is.
