Hi

We ahve a set of webservices jobs which are executed in v7.5. Currently I'm in process of migrating them to 8.5 , but when I execute these jobs I get the following Java error

"com.ascentialsoftware.wsclient.ServiceInvocationException: Service invocation exception: <ns1:Fault xmlns:ns1="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">

Is this an installation issue, where some Java class is missing?

Moved this over to the SOA Forum...

Are we talking about ISD Jobs being deployed as Web Services? (if so, then placement here in this forum makes sense)...or are we talking about Jobs that use the Web Services Pack (WSClient and/or WSTransformer Stages)?

...it "sounds" like the latter, but please confirm.....

It sounds like it may be the WSTransformer, and you have a service that is using SSL security?

Are "all" your jobs with web services failing? Do you have a service that does not need SSL ?

Just a guess.

I was not aware of SOA forum. This is about jobs using the Web services pack in 7.5

Ok, then...as expected. You have a strategy then (above). If someone wants to move it back to the regular forum, that would make sense too...

Hi Ernie,

What strategy are you implying?
Is there a separate Web service pack, though I see that it is already included in 8.5
