We are looking into the possibility of accessing web services from DataStage. By searching this forum I found that we need web service pack for that.

When I looked at what we have we found the following.

60806-DSWSEX RTI Agent

Is this the web service pack ? Is that all we need ?

If this is not the one, does it cost anything to buy it ? I read in this forum that it does not cost anything to buy web services pack. Is that still true ?

You don't need to buy WS Pack.....but it's been too long --- I don't remember when in v7 we started to "include it." The product you are referring to below is the ability for DataStage to "be" a web service (RTI).

Look in your real-time folder when editing a job...see if you have WSTransformer and WSClient Stage types....those are the wspack. If not, you will need to find out from your support provider how/where they can be downloaded. They no longer cost anything.
