At this point, Kenneth Bland is one post away from 4k. I, personally, have gotton so much support and encouragement from him. Thanks for helping us carve our path in better understanding ETL concepts, DataStage tips and tricks and in becoming better ETL developers.
Congratulations on accomplishing this milestone and helping DSXChange to be where it is today. :P

This post is number 4000, so thanks. I've been answering fewer questions lately, trying to encourage others to pipe up first. I think folks are doing a pretty good job! We've got some superstars in the making.

Congratulations, Ken.

My introduction to DS was a course you taught in Westboro back in '01. You were passionate about DS then, and you still are!

Roundtrip to Westboro, $350. Dinner at the Naked Fish, $30. DataStage Essentials certificate signed by Ken Bland, PRICELESS.

Well, you made me laugh today. I wouldn't use the priceless, but thanks for the sentiments. Naked Fish, is that still open?

The Naked Fish brings back lots of memories. Some of them are even good!

Hi Ken,

Since Ray has already beaten us on seconding the second, then I'll just be the first to third it!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to having you in Des Moines, IA with us next week. I've learned so much from your documentation and methodology documentation, and I'm hoping to drain your brain of much more info next week. See you then and congradulations again!

Bestest,
