Thanks for bringing this to our attention folks. I also use Trillian Pro and have never even seen an RSS date before today. Ray was right as usual--the feed was misreading the post's timestamp (it didn't even recognize that it was a timestamp) and thus spitting out the date of the unix epoch (or the...

If you simply click the http://www.dsxchange.com/images/xmlicon.gif button, you will most likely get a blank page or a mess of data. You will want to use some sort of software (such as the free alternaive mentioned above) to parse the data stream into a readable format. Use the URL within Feedreader...

Ah, the limits of phpBB

This is one unfortunate side-effect of the search function built into this bulletin board. When a given word such as "DataStage" is used, phpBB keeps a running count on the total number of posts using that word. As a word is used more and more, eventually it hits a critical mass of commona...

Jamas and all,

Thanks for pointing this out. The linking should now be uniformly applied to all of the "bucket" icons.

Incidentally, the icons were meant as a sort of graphical representation of a database, but "bucket" works too.

Thanks,
Walter

This sometimes happens as the result of a simple date conversion error. You'll notice that the reply to the first post in that topic is dated sometime in 2004. This happens occasionally and has to be fixed manually.

Sorry for the annoyance.

Please read before posting: Appropriate use of this forum

Please remember that the DataStage forum and other product-centric and concept-centric forums exist for submission of support questions, debate of methodology, etc. These are NOT the appropriate forums for submission of resumes or requests for resumes/applications. Some of us who are a bit uptight about split infinitives never even studied Latin...

We studied Greek instead. :D

And don't get me started about subject/verb agreement. Sheesh. :P

P.S. Kim, you know I'm not old.
