Project created with no default types/folders
Hi I have this strange problem and needed your advice. I have V8.1 on AIX 5.6 with XMETA on DB2. After I create a new project through DS Administrator, I am not able to see the project listed in the administrator console. When I open DS Designer, it does get listed down like hostname/projectname eg....

I have never handled procedures through DS but once we had an issue when our DB server was on another machine and DS server on another. I approached the DBA and he did some 'configuration changes' at oracle end and we were able to connect to the oracle server...... If it is anywhere similar to your ...

Hi Yes, we have user controlled aborts in our sequences that may be causing this conditional abort. I rechecked the settings and verified that RTlogging =0 and ORlogging=1 (which means that the logs be redirected to XMETA.) in both the environment. Though I have had some luck here---really not 100% ...

Thanks I have gone through the various posts here in DSX that says that logs are not viewable in director if they are stored in XMETA. However, just an FYI...i havent found it it to be true. I have two environments-SIT and UAT where the logs were being directed to XMETA. I was able to see all the lo...

DataStage is unresponsive, XMETA is 92% full
Hi, I am using version 8.1 on AIX,XMETA on DB2,running around 50 sequence jobs (each sequence job having three to four server jobs) every 20th and 50th minute of everyhour, everyday. We ran into an issue in our UAT environment and were not able to create projects. Turns out the DB2 repository ran out of space. That was resolved. Hi, I am also facing the same issue now in UAT. Can you please point out how did you resolve the space issue problem in DB2 XMETA. My XMETA has reached...

Right now I have to go to each job-->right click-->add to schedule. I have to repeat the process for each job. Is there any way to sche...

WAS restarted
Hi I am closing this thread as the issue has resolved. I have only deduced that the actual problem was with the WAS server...several attempts to bounce it were not successful. Finally the WAS team did something to bring up the WAS server. Once it was up, we only bounced the DS servers and we are abl...
