AFAIK:
IA jobs are pure OSH scripts with no job design behind them. So, its another issue as well, what will you do with them? Edit the OSH?

Do you have any IBM statement regarding to: should it work?
(asking since you put this in resolved status)

Hi Guys, As a friend used to say: "You can't protect from the keepers" You can use in another project the sesitive componnents and export (in read only if you like) the executable only to import in the desired project. Then it should be safe from change since they have not the source code....

Also do a describe on the table
sometimes you have a no parallel clause in your table's DDL
that will prevent a parallel read from that table.

Hi,
Try to check actual column lengths.
sometimes even the wrong size in ds compared with DB can cause this.
if you had any special cars the you wouls have ot NLS warning since ms1252 does't support them.

I agree with the above.

I don't have access to the server :(
But if I'm not mistaken you issue an archive command and not an import command !

Hi,
In my experience, most of the time the EBCDIC file is transferred from the source server to the DataStage server.
when that is the case usually you include the EBCDIC to ASCII conversion in the file transfer utility (in both directions) that prevents your need to handle such things.

Hi,
IMHO (In My Humble Opinion),
You need to open a support ticket with IBM and get an official response.
If IBM recommends a minimum release or fix pack to be installed to support your new OS release, you should have installed it after your OS upgrade.

IHTH (I Hope This Helps),
