Hi Bland what's this "database rollback segment issues, snapshot too old"

error,one of my jobs are aborting giving this message and if i reset it and run again it just runs fine without failing..

all of suddenly my manager changed the PASSWORD for database.
so what are options now?

open up each and every job change the password and compile is the only option??

what if 1)some jobs are scheduled through DataStage Schedular
2)some jobs are scheduled through CRONTAB

i have couple of jobs which are showing Status are running and Num Rows is not changing at all(after 1.9 mil rows processed)in the monitor window.source is flat file.

sorry,. in the above post the varchar value in source file and lookup file is 8

both are different problems.this one is a daily job loads around 150k recs into the hash file.and it has been running for a couple of months.now it is oversized and correpted.so switching 64bit is the only option??

i think ur correct it has 2434850816 on data.30 and 586504192 on over.30
how to correct it.i have to delete the old one and create new one. or else how to increase the size of old hash file..
