I want to know, how internally Aggregator stage does count opertaion?

does it do the count on each partition and sum it out to the output?

or does it do it in a sequential mode?

i just want to know if lookup stage uses up scratch/resoure disk or RAM memory for loading ref data into.

and does it load same ref data into all partitions or parts of data into different partitions or just loads all ref data into shared RAM or .....

i loaded the GB2312.

But the characters are not read the right way in server job

odbc(db2)------>seq file

In parallel job the characters are getting read fine.

why is it so, how to get the characters right in server job as well.
