From this acticle I understand a bit about HA. But would this help to run DS jobs without interruption in case primary server failed? If it doesn't then could you please give me a scenario where HA configuration could be useful while running DS jobs?

Make a copy of uvconfig before you play with it. If the engine doesn't start then revert back to the originial uvconfig file and try - that should help. This is all that we did to make ours work.

Patch patch_JR34279_server_redhat_752 was recently provided to us and this seems have taken care of the issue.
