I honestly don't know off the top of my head but it seems to me it would be simple enough to setup a small test to see.

Sounds fine as long as those locations are not shared with anything else.

Exactly. All columns in the stage must be bound into the query, so only send in what you need.

Looks like you can set the Record count value in the Oracle Connector stage to zero to mean 'only commit at the end'... have you tried that? Also note that the OCI stage supports the same concept on the 'Transaction Handling' tab, from what I recall.

IMHO, those kind of questions are relevant when you can't get anything to run, which is obviously not the case here. Ignoring the oddball cookie message, what happens when you run the jobs individually? Do they run ok? When you run them all and most of them fail, it is always the same set or does th...

As to your question, I don't think I've ever seen a response here that there is a working solution to an 'all or nothing' load in PX. As noted, setting the transaction size to zero works great in the Server world but doesn't seem to have an equivalent here.

Has anyone found a way to implement this?

This is classic 'involve your support provider' territory to me.

Not quite sure what a 'very less price project' might be, does that mean your company is not paying for maintenance? If they are, then full support comes along with that 'for free'. If they're not, then... dang, good luck to you. :(

And you got this where? From what? Doing what, exactly? :?

FYI, a search reveals yours is the only post with that message, you may be on your own here.

Moved your second post, too.

:!: Please edit both of your posts (yes, you can do that) to add the DataStage version, O/S and to set the Job Type to Parallel, information that can be important in getting you a proper answer.

Thanks.

Welcome. Please edit your post to include your DataStage version and O/S. Please note the forum where I've moved this post, it is the proper forum for discussions of anything PX specific. Please keep that in mind when posting in the future. Thanks. ps. Moved here from the FAQ Discussion forum. That'...

Ok, fair enough. Then I suspect our friend is incorrect about it existing in that location with that exact spelling... with enough permissions to allow it to be read.

Could it possibly mean that the while descriptor file may still exist that the actual dataset files it references could not be found?
