If you are going to use specific shell syntax (looks like Korn to me) then try specifying that in the Execute Command stage by prefixing it with the shell. So perhaps "ksh if..." might help. Use whatever shell you've coded for.

First off, masking is completely different from encrypting. Secondly, you need to tell us encrypted how? Were you given any requirements as to the nature of the encryption you need to do? Or do you in fact need to mask it?

Off the top of my head if the loop isn't coded to wait, simply add a -wait or -jobstatus to the dsjob command so that it does. See if that fixes the issue.
