It is "DESIGN" I assume... are you doing it correctly and the typo is just in your post?

ps. Always best to explain what "not working" means and to include any errors you get rather than making us guess what they might be.

Ah... I think I remember reading that - you can go straight to 8.5 from where you are but not 8.7, afterwards you can upgrade 8.5 to 8.7. And I'm sure IBM considers 8.7 "tested" but I get your point. :wink:

It might help to post the routine code. 1. You are clearing specific logs, yes? I.E. RT_STATUSnnn where nnn is the internal job number. Are you checking the return code from it? 2. Never heard of the one with the dash, just the dot. Could be some kind of synonym, I guess... does it work when you use...

Then it seems to me that you need to bring the issue to whomever administers email for your company as it doesn't sound like you are doing anything 'wrong'.
