That's because you're not in any Project. Either execute the command from the Project directory itself or LOGTO the Project first and then execute your SQL.

Many years ago, when RTI (former ISD) had a set of web services for standard Job Control, a PDA based Director was developed.....but it didn't get used and the Job Control Web Service [and hand held Director that used it] was deprecated. That is what I saw... many many moons ago, demonstrated to us...

I seem to recall from one from many moons ago that was scrapped. Wasn't aware of this one... and (as suspected) it has nothing to do with DataStage.

Technically, yes - as long as the number of bind parameters in the SQL is equal to the number of columns defined in the stage - which is what the error is saying. Note that (at least in the past) the ODBC stage doesn't care about that little detail.

Note that (in spite of what the illustration seems to show) there are links from all three jobs to the Sequencer, hence the need to set it to Any for it to work properly.
