You'd have to do that from the Manager.

No, I'm afraid it doesn't - at least not in the OCI stages. You are probably thinking of Transaction Grouping which does force it to 1.

That's odd... I'm running 7.5.1A and my Stored Procedure stage has a Parameters tab on the Stage page. Four tabs there - General, Syntax, Parameters and Error Codes. Perhaps something went wrong with your plug-in installation? You might want to try contacting Support and ask them what might cause so...

Must of been a different we, I wasn't able to go last November. 2004 yes, 2005 no. Don't know about the T30FILE table issue, I got the impression from Karen it was more a dsapi_server / slave issue. They're checking for me to see if it is 'officially' fixed in the 7.5.2 release but for now in 7.5.1A...

Called in yet another level of support today to resolve the horked up Version Control project I mentioned in the previous post. No idea how many of you have had the pleasure of working with Karen Powers, but she is the Big Gun they call in when the front line troops get stumped and they need it fixe...

Not sure how much this helps, but I haven't had to make use of the Parameters tab yet. When the Procedure Type is set to Source or Target (I've only had a need to use Target so far) the Column metadata is used instead. It's only for a Procedure type of Transform that the Parameters tab comes into pl...

Can't answer that as I have no experience with using that stage. It's not even one that's installed here.

We do have the SOA Edition and I don't recall any discussion of MQ Series in the documentation. Someone who has both, or more experience in general with that stage, needs to chime in.

Sorry, little bit of a rant here but this is a pet peeve of mine. When I mentioned log sizes, I should have been more specific as to the why of it. What I find way too often are HUGE log files, primarily in the 'development' projects, where untested jobs are being run from the Designer without bothe...

Sorry, not using Siebel anything but did want to comment on the 7.1 version. From what I recall it was pretty... buggy... and caused us to wait and upgrade from 7.0.1 over it straight to 7.5.1A. For whatever that is worth.

Actually, what poonamgoyal said in his oh so lovely cell phone text message speak was the fact that you already have it on your pc. It's called cffstage.pdf and is located in the 'Docs' directory - along with all kinds of other cool documentation - just under wherever you installed your DataStage c...
