So... you don't feel comfortable enough with the concept of stage variables to adapt the code for this 'new' requirement, so didn't try? Or you've tried and couldn't make it work?

I very very (very) seldom do any kind of direct database lookup in Server, so I'm perfectly happy with NOTFOUND. I just have to remember to not NOT_FOUND on those rare occasions I can't use it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly for anything other than hashed files. For database lookups, check for null values returned instead.

Check the last four posts on the first page of the topic I linked to. There's nothing to do with 'bin' here or to be cleared.

Perhaps you are used to another name for it, but it simply means a 'virtual' address that is a collection of addresses - a group of people who can be notified using a single email address. That way it doesn't take a job change or any ETL involvement to change who gets notified. Outlook calls it a 'D...

Not sure how a post from 2000 in the Oliver archives can be the 'recent' post I was hoping you would find.

With Server, everything is basically a string under the covers. Simply use it as is or do math on it (+0) to do an implicit conversion to decimal.

Aakash, you need to start a new thread and explain your problems in detail. Saying you are 'facing similar issues' doesn't really tell us anything.

The same way you'd do it in any other tool. Since this isn't exactly a new concept, I'd suggest googling for something like 'populate calendar table' to find web resources. I've even been places where all relevant 'calendar' information was generated in Excel a year at a time, saved to a .csv and th...

Suggest you provide a wee bit more detail. That and post the actual error(s) you are seeing.

I don't see how RT_STATUS or RT_CONFIG issues can be corrected by releasing locks or clearing the status file. :?

You are in luck - we just went through this exact same thing with someone else, suggest you search for RT_CONFIG to find that conversation.

Was wondering about that. What kind of value would leave the entry completely blank like that? It's not null or it would say NULL like it does for the date. An empty string would show a pair of double-quotes I would think.

Or is this some kind of copy/paste error? :?

Ok, I see the issue - your data is not sorted in the order I was expecting and as noted in my point #4. You can get 605 record types anywhere in the invoice. Try this instead: svTargetType -> Link.RecType = 605 svCurrKey -> Link.InvNo svNewKey -> svTargetType And svCurrKey <> svPrevKey svSeqNo -> If...
