Simple - write jobs that do not generate warnings. Server jobs are not PX jobs - there's no reason they should ever generate warnings. Seriously. We run a couple thousand a night with nary a peep. You'd need to set the warning limit to something else when you start the Sequence, in other words over...

It always helps to mention your database. Which ODBC stage are you referring to, the Enterprise stage I assume? The pdf reference for that stage mentions a dboption of -rowCommitInterval you can use to control that, suggest you give that a read.

Then obviously something is wrong with your 'particular environment' and the Oracle configuration there. Have you checked to ensure $ORACLE_HOME and all of the appropriate PATH values (etc) are setup properly there?

Ray was specifically talking about using a 7.5.1A client to connect to a 7.5x2 Server - the 'special' Windows-enabled PX version. This really shouldn't be a problem in a 'normal' environment. Your confusion about only seeing the Date branch of the sdk is exactly what I mentioned earlier - transforms...

DataStage does not come with any scheduler, per se. Instead it comes with an interface to the standard scheduling tool on your platform - for UNIX that is 'cron' and 'at' while on Windows it leverages 'at'.
