You typically use it when a job stills shows as "Running" when you know for a fact that it is not, say after a server crash. It sets the status back to "Compiled" after asking twice "Are you sure?".

Another thought - anything different about your PC that you know of? Can you try the uninstall/reinstall with your Anti-Virus software turned off?

Hmmm... if you've done the complete uninstall/reinstall and it hasn't helped, then I don't know what else to advise. Suggest you open a ticket with your official support provider, see if they can figure out what's different about your PC.

Since the ".adm" files that control that are project specific, I don't see why not. However, still think it's a major mistake to have jobs in anything other than dev projects "editable".

Anyone else having this problem or just you? When you installed the software, did you completely uninstall it first? Meaning removing file directories and all Ascential registry keys as well?

It gets installed on your client PC in your Docs under the Ascential directory where you installed the client, along with all the other documentation pdfs.
